The miniature depicts two men lowering a body wrapped in white cloth into a tomb, while members of the clergy give blessings and mourners look on. An angel takes the dead man's soul up to God, while a devil tries to get hold of it. God's presence is depicted by the rays of his glory at the top of the image.
