Comprises accounts of various journeys undertaken by Joseph Wood including two to meetings at Shelley and a single journey to meetings in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire, Huntingdonshire, Leicestershire and Rutland. A piece of paper with '49' printed on it is pasted to the front cover. '37' has been written in ink on the front cover and '1810-11' in pencil. The cover comprises a contemporary paper with a white foliage design picked out against a blue background and an overlaid pink lattice design.
