Description:
Comprises accounts of various journeys undertaken by Joseph Wood including one with Thomas Shillitoe to Huddersfield after the riots there in January 1812. Also includes an account of a single journey to meetings in Herefordshire, Radnorshire, Worcestershire, Monmouthshire, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Staffordshire. A piece of paper with '51' printed on it is pasted to the front cover. '39' has been written in ink on the front cover and '1812-13' in pencil. The cover comprises a contemporary paper with a pink foliage design on a darker pink background. 'No. 39' is written in ink on the inside front and back covers.
