Comprises accounts of various journeys undertaken by Joseph Wood including one to Hanging Heaton and an account of a single journey taking in meetings in Westmoreland, Cumberland, Lancashire and Cheshire. A piece of paper with '53' printed on it is pasted to the front cover. 'No. 41' has been written in ink on the front cover and '1813-14' in pencil. The cover comprises a contemporary paper with a grey and brown foliage design on a white background. 'No. 41' is written in ink on the inside front cover.
