Comprises accounts of various journeys undertaken by Joseph Wood including ones to Cumberworth, Highflatts and Kirkburton and another to Elsecar. A piece of paper with '55' printed on it is pasted to the front cover. 'No. 43' has been written in ink on the front cover and '1815' in pencil. The cover comprises a contemporary paper with a pink, green and black foliage design on a grey background. 'No. 43' is written in ink on the inside front cover.
