Description:
The letter is in two parts. In the first one (1 page), she explains that as she had some masons working in her flat, she could not leave early. In the second part (3 pages), she acknowledges that they cannot meet again in the evening. After she had left him, she went with an unnamed Béarn woman to see Joséphine Rivière. She then walked back home through the Boulevard because she wanted to see the state of Paris by herself; the city is calm, she claims. Dated Monday, 3:30pm and 8pm.
