She is sad to have missed his speech and asks a new ticket for Monday. What exactly happened is however still unsure; either she was late, or Hugo did not speak that day. Dated Sunday, 8am. The date on the letters is false, it is 24 September, not 25. c1930s typescript translation held separately.
