Juliette Drouet letter to Victor Hugo

She supposes that Hugo did not show up yesterday because of the rain. She says that Hugo's cousin invited her for dinner with his wife after having met her the bar of the Martyr de la Montagne, but she went at Monferrier's instead, where they talked about the elections and Hugo's newspaper, L'Evènement.
