Anonymous letter to Victor Hugo

She describes, in very long paragraphs, all her admiration for Hugo and regrets that they cannot meet this year. She is probably young as she mentions her mother. She also talks about a letter from Hugo for a subscription for a newspaper that has however failed. The letter must have been written for the New Year.
