Male informant holding a smithy-made horse gag, in the doorway of stables at Finghall ( Wensleydale). The gag is used to keep the horse's mouth open while its teeth are checked. A second male with a cap stands behind the informant with the gag. Mounted on Photo File card. With ms. note.
