Also mounted on the card is a newspaper cutting from the 'Northern Echo' (June 1966) on the recognition of Dales ponies as a pure breed. With ms. notes, including a note in the hand of Werner Kissling on informant Bob Hird's thoughts on modern Dales ponies.
