Mrs. M. E. Scott pouring the morning's milk from a back-can, through a sile held in place with sile briggs, into a copper cheese kettle, in her home, West Stonesdale ( Swaledale). The milk will be used to make cheese, whilst the cream that is siled off will be used to make butter. Mounted on Photo File card with a duplicate of LAVC/PHO/P1484. With typed note. Card 5 in a series of 27.
