Butter, weighed by Mrs. M. E. Scott, on a wooden board in her home, West Stonesdale ( Swaledale). Mrs. Scott's hands are kept cool and wet throughout this process in order that the butter does not stick to them. Mounted on Photo File card. With typed note. Card 10 in a series of 13.
