Elaborate 19th century engraved trade card (label) of J. Shepherd [John Shepherd], with image at top of card depicting two mourners by gravestone inscribed with motto 'RESURGAM', Latin for 'I shall rise again'. Trader details in a variety of typefaces with decorative flourishes. Four images of different designs of luggage in each corner of text. Item is pasted on spotted paper.
