Horse dosing iron used for holding the horse's mouth open when administering medicine, on stone steps at Ryedale Folk Museum, Hutton-le-Hole (North Yorkshire). The neck of a medicine bottle would be passed through the centre loop. Mounted on Photo File card. With ms. note and catalogue details in the hand of Wille Brunk.
