Response book recording the answers given by informants during the Survey of English Dialect. It includes 9 sections that cover a range of topics relating to work, domestic and social life. Answers are recorded in the International Phonetic Alphabet.
Interviews have been carried out by fieldworker John Wright. There are seven informants for this response book - Mr Albert Gallop (Bert), Mr Robert Lions (Bob), Mrs Lions, Mr George King, Mr Edwin Carpenter, Mrs Ethel Sampson and Mr Wilfred Saint.
