Sheep washing on Outgang Beck at Thornton Rust ( Wensleydale). A farmer stands in the washpool to hold a sheep in/help it through the water. A second sheep swims through the washpool back towards the fold, where another farmer prepares to throw another sheep into the washpool. A fourth sheep climbs out of the washpool in the foreground.
