Main poster text reads 'I thought I was happily married but all the time I was frightened. Most people think violence takes place on the streets, but 80% of violence occurs indoors, by men against women. Local women are getting together to talk about their experiences of violence in the home. Why don't you come too? There will be lots of women to give advice and help to you on any subject. There will also be: Videos, Food, Self-Defence, Discussion Groups, Free Tea & Coffee, Transport, Childcare, B.S.L. Interpretors'. On the back of the poster is further information about the event, including bus routes.
