[Side 2] Tom recalls walking to work, discusses working hours and first wages, describes 'boneshaker' [= bicycle before introduction of pneumatic tyres], recalls witnessing fire at local mill just after owners had opened new building and installed new machinery, mill subsequently turned into saw mill for grinding.
