'skimmer' [= metal plate in front of coulter which shaves off top-layer of ground], 'coulter' [= blade at front of plough that makes vertical cut] and 'reest' [= replaceable bed under mouldboard on plough]. [Side 2] Mr Bracey talks about difference between 'skimmer' and 'coulter', describes 'moddle' [= foot of plough on to which ploughshare is fixed], explains how to plough in 16 step 'lands' [= one of set of strips into which ploughed field is divided], recalls entertainment as young farm worker in past incl. playing 'shinny' [= stick and ball game similar to hockey], 'cat-stick' [= tipcat], 'hares and hounds' [= seeking game], explains rules of 'catstick', memories of village fair.
