Foresters' and Shepherds', recalls occasion when there was a dispute with Pickering band. [Side 2] Robert recalls walking to Knapton to school for shilling a day, tells anecdote about local character who played prank of tricking villager into 'beck' [= stream]. Note: Recording date 1957-09 noted by ear, 1956-11-13 written on lacquer disc label.
