[Side 2] Conversation between George, Sydney, Willie, Tommy and Douglas, Sydney outlines his daily travels, recites saying 'five old wives of Wall', memories of characters in Birtley village in past, discussion of local tradition of first-footing [= New Year's Eve custom], George recalls one particular first-footing occasion, brief discussion of sport incl. Newcastle United, tennis, horse-racing.
