'a-striking out' [= marking off furrows by ploughing once up and down field], explains how to 'pleach' [= intertwine branches of brushwood to form/repair hedge], discusses techniques and traditional tools used. [Side 2] George talks about harsh winters in past, describes traditional method of making cider, recalls travelling from Clun with mobile cider-mill, tells anecdote about organising football match in local farmer's field and abandoning match when farmer arrived.
