Letter to Francis Henry Grundy following a silence of nearly three years, commenting upon his ill-health, and his affair with Mrs Lydia Robinson (née Gisbourne). Letter addressed from 'Haworth, Bradford, Yorks'.

Francis Henry Grundy met Branwell Bronte in the early 1840s, when he was working on the construction of Yorkshire railways and lodging in Halifax. Bronte was, at that time, a railway clerk at Luddenden Foot.
