"9. Helles: The evacuation (destruction of stores and ammunition)". On reverse: "9. The evacuation from Helles on the night of Jan. 13th.-14th, 1916. Store tents fired and ammunition dumps exploded electrically at a gun signal from "Queen Elizabeth" at 2 a.m. The most awe-inspiring sight I have ever seen. Drawn from memory in hospital."
