"35. The Cathedral, Ypres: before the third battle." Sketch includes legend: "Cathedral, Ypres 16/7/17." On reverse: "35. Ypres Cathedral in 1917. Typical of all the Town. Some troops were quartered in deep cellars and dugouts but as the Boche could look right in anyone moving about the streets got well cursed for drawing enemy gunfire."
