[Side 1] Jim tells anecdote about local man who saw balloon in 'midden' [= pit below earth closet] after visit to toilet, explains man had never seen balloon before so assumed he must have passed it so wife called doctor who removed and burst balloon, recalls man claiming it was 'first fart with a skin on it'. [Side 2] Jim tells anecdote about travelling draper arriving too late for dinner at each farm visit, at final visit draper reports news of sow with litter of 13 pigs but only 12 'tits' [= teats], comments thirteenth piglet (like him) has to stand by and watch at feeding time.
