The image contains two images. The one on the left hand side is entitled THE JOURNALIST - THEN. The Fleet Prison. A man is sitting on a bed in front of a chair with an extra cushion on it, which he uses as a desk, and is writing something. There are three books beside him on the bed. A woman is sitting in the back with a child on her knee, in front of a window. The image on the left is entitled THE JOURNALIST - NOW. Fleet Street. and shows an older man sitting at a wooden desk in front of a fireplace. He is smoking a cigar while writing something. There are a couple of piles of books on his desk and some paperwork. A servant, standing at the far left side of the picture, is bringing a message on a plate. In both images at the bottom right corner a signature is visible saying L.Raven.Hill.
