Description

ff. iii, 214-218 are contemporary ruled vellum flyleaves.

Decoration: 8 full-page borders in designs of flowers, birds and insects on decorated gold ground. 11-line (or smaller), initials throughout in designs of curved acanthus leaves in colours on decorated gold grounds or on naturalistic landscapes. Several pages have naturalistic floral borders.

Dr J. J. G. Alexander has suggested that the artist might have been Jacob Elsner.

Written in hybrida.
