The scenes in the historiated border are: an unidentified bishop; St Mary Magdalen holding a book and an ointment jar; St. Christopher carrying Christ across the stream, and St. James the Great, holding a book and a staff, and wearing a pilgrim's hat and bag; and St. Anne with the Virgin Mary as a child.
