The miniature depicts the scene of the Nativity in the stable. The Virgin Mary and Jose[h kneel in adoration of the Christ Child, while the ox and the ass lie nearby. The town of Nazareth can be seen in the distance. The border is decorated with a snail, a bird, a butterfly and flowers.
