Description:
The miniature depicts a tonsured male figure, clad in a white gown and a red cloak, apparently sacrificing two animals by burning them on an altar. His head-dress with a fur lining and a golden top lies on the ground beside him. Behind him is a group of people. The foliate intial 'h' is included in the corner of the miniature. The gold wash border is decorated with a bird, a fly, butterflies, strawberries, pinks, roses, thistles, heartsease, speedwells, strawberry flowers, acanthus leaves, white berries and a daisy.
