Description:
The miniature shows God, enthroned, placing a crown over the Virgin Mary's head. A group of saints surround them, including in the foreground, St. Barbara with a tower and a palm branch, St. Peter with a key, St. Paul with a sword, St. Catherine with a sword and a crown, St. George with a small St. George flag, and St. Apollonia with a tooth in pincers. Behind God are groups of kneeling angels painted in red shading. The border includes pimpernels, pantsies, thistles, pinks, strawberries, speedwells, an iris, butterflies, and a dragonfly.
