    Erratic contemporary foliation and pagination; a further six stubs visible after f. 42; most versos blank; ff. 31, 34 and 37-42 are blank; ff. 32-3 are adventitious, mounted to the stub of former f. 32. Recipes on ff. 29, 30, 35 and 36 are on separate paper, pasted in. Inscription on front board, rather worn, 'Mrs Green of Penblaithe Book of Receipts 1741'; signed and dated by Mrs Green, 4th June 1764, on f. 42v
