Description

Response book recording the answers given by informants during the Survey of English Dialect. It includes 9 sections that cover a range of topics relating to work, domestic and social life. Answers are recorded in the International Phonetic Alphabet.

Interviews have been carried out by fieldworker Stanley Ellis. There are five informants for this response book - Arthur Parker, Sid Belton, Emma Harrison, Joe Needham and Harry Simon. Mrs Parker is included as conversational notes.
