Description

Autograph miniature manuscript, the second of two volumes. Title page reads 'Visits in Weropolis [sic] By The Honourable Charles, Albert, Florian Lord Wellesley, Aged 10 years/ In Two Volumes - Volume the Second Published by Seargant Bud and sold by all the Booksellers in the Chief [sic] Glass Town, the Duke of Wellington’s Glass Town, Parry’s Glass Town, Ross’s Glass Town, &c &c &c./ Charlotte Brontë December the 18.1830'.

The volume has a list of contents at the end, signed (Charlotte Brontë and “Lord Charles Florian Wellesley”)

Hand-cut leaves of slightly different sizes, with original blue paper wrappers (stamped “Purified Epsom Salts, Sold by J. West, Chemist & Druggist, Keighley”) stab-stitched in a single gathering.
