[Side 1] Sam tells anecdote about being 'runner' [= hare-beater], recalls providing plentiful hares but shooters missed repeatedly, brief anecdote about feeding pig for farmer at Hubbert's Bridge. [Side 2] Sam tells anecdote about incident at farm sale, describes having beer in barn and friend throwing orange at barman, explains fight ensued and Sam got hold of barman despite his brother trying to pull him away before police arrived and handcuffed Sam's left hand. Note: Recording date 1952-01-08 noted by ear, 1952-01-15 written on lacquer disc label.
