[Side 2] Jack talks about Kirkby Stephen Luke Fair, discusses prices for 'beast' [= cattle] and 'tups' [= male sheep], recommends suitable informants locally, recalls harsh winters of past, describes first job on farm 'lading' [= loading] and 'hugging' [= carrying] water, recalls particularly difficult calving with cow 'ligging' [= lying] on its back.
